The Fiji Powerlifting Federation has appointed a new team manager to help promote the sport in the country.

Boasting a strong marketing background, Rajneel Prasad will lead Fiji Powerlifting to newer heights, starting with the World Masters Series in October.

Fiji will then prepare for the Oceania championship in Australia in December.
Ahead of these events, Prasad plans to relaunch the Fiji Powerlifting Federation in the hope of getting more lifters in Fiji ahead of the Pacific Games in 2015.
