Finally, someone in SODELPA has got the guts to tell Bulitavu that he is factually wrong when he refers to women in his Facebook comments.

Speaking exclusively to FBC News, Niko Nawaikula says he strongly disagrees with Bulitavu’s comparison about Indo-Fijian and I-taukei women.

Nawaikula says Bulitavu’s comments about females are wrong but he is not racist.

“I think Bulitavu’s comments is totally wrong factually but at the same he is not racist”

Nawaikula says Bulitavu is entitled to his opinion.

“You know he is entitled to his opinion and I disagree with his opinion but the question of whether or its racist, I don’t see anything in that.”

Meanwhile, Tupou Draunidalo’s comments of SODELPA being silent on racial issues has been refuted by the party President Ro Filipe Tuisawau.

In a statement released to FBC News, Ro Tuisawau says Draunidalo should stop wasting her time meddling in the affairs of another party and focus on trying to win a seat in the next election.

However, Draunidalo tells SODELPA to stop giving weak excuses.

“Flimsy excuses have been made on their behalf but voters in this country are too smart for that, they have very long memories as we can see, we saw it in the last election, and they are not going to pay attention to flimsy excuses.”

Meanwhile, Ro Filipe Tuisawau says he will not comment on the Bulitavu issue since it’s now a police matter.
