A 43-year-old woman will be reproduced at the Nausori Magistrates Court charged with being in possession of illicit drugs.

On Tuesday, the accused’s home was searched by the Eastern Division Taskforce after information was received of her alleged involvement in the illicit drug trade.

The team found a clear bag containing dried leaves and white substance which later tested positive to be marijuana and methamphetamine.

She was charged with two counts of found in possession of illicit drugs, one for the marijuana find and one count for the methamphetamine find.

She was produced at the Magistrates Court yesterday and remanded in custody where she will be brought to court again today.
