The Fiji Trades Union Congress says it will continue to pursue a national strike that could result in Fiji shutting down.

FTUC general secretary, Felix Anthony, says this is what he meant when he said on Saturday that they had shut down Nadi and Fiji was next, during the march to support the striking Air Terminal Services workers.

Anthony says they are now planning to apply for a permit for a March in Suva and will continue to gather support for the striking workers.
