The founder of Fiji Water Canadian born David Gilmour has just launched his full collection called Wakaya Perfection.
There are twenty-four products in the collection which range from organic pink ginger, Dilo cream to Kava.
All the raw organic ingredients that go into these products are grown on Wakaya Island.
The certified Fijian-Made products in the collection are already being sold at some major retail stores overseas.
“It’s being sold at Harolds in London, the biggest department store in the world – ranking in annual sales of three billion dollars in that one store, Saks 5th Avenue in New York and Home Shopping Network.”
The businessman also says it is imperative Fiji keeps a good reputation when it comes to the various products that are exported to the overseas markets.
“Today Fiji can become the centre of gravity for Agriculture in the South Pacific. Let’s grasp it, keep the quality and create a team where we all work together to help each other and not do things that could injury each other.”
While Gilmour says they are still focusing on exporting to the US market there are plans in the pipeline to look at supplying to countries like Australia and New Zealand.
