There’s been a major blackout in most parts of Viti Levu this hour.

Fiji Electricity Authority (FEA) says there has been a fault in one of its 33,000 volt cables which has caused the disruption in power supply.

FEA spokesperson, Karunesh Rao, says they will be releasing more information in the next hour.
