Twenty-year old Esther Vulaono Vateitei was crowned Miss Vodafone Millennium Sinu Festival at the Valelevu grounds last night.

Vateitei will now be representing Nasinu Town Council at the Miss Fiji Pageant later this year.

Vateitei who was sponsored by I Am Woman could not hold back tears and was speechless after her name was announced.

“I was really surprised but thankful and I know i have big shoes to fill, am so grateful for the committee especially the support and I know that even though I have big shoes to fill, the support system is great and awesome and I know I can work through it.”

Vateitei was also awarded the Best Float yesterday.
