USP’s Pacific Technical and Further Education programs will now be made available to students in the Northern division.

This comes after the increasing demand of its programs from the people in the North.

Pacific TAFE, Director, Hasmukh Lal says they have taken up two floors in the Gurbachan Singh mall in Labasa town which is expected to open next month.

“We will make all this quality programs that have international arreditations accessible to the people or the students in the Northern division. So that means we will try to mitigate students from the Northern Division from coming to Suva."

Meanwhile, Pacific TAFE has had sixteen of its programmes internationally accredited with plans in the pipe line to have more recognized for this year.
