A man from Kuku in Bau has been sentenced to fourteen years in prison for rape and indecent assault.

He was found guilty of two counts of indecently assaulting ,and two counts of raping his niece.

The man raped the fifteen year old girl while she was nine months pregnant.

He continued to abuse her twice a week for the next one year.

The forty four year old will have to serve 12 years before parole.
