Investigators will be consulting the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions this morning before the next course of action is decided.

The victim was allegedly assaulted while police were attending to a report of a disturbance outside a nightclub on the 2nd of September.

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho maintains that the Fiji Police Force has no place for officers who abuse their authority and will not hesitate to remove anyone found to be doing so.
