Two new additions to the Fiji Judiciary

Two more resident Magistrates were sworn in at the state house.

Resident Magistrate Timoci Qalinauci and Lisiate Fotofili were officially sworn in by the President Major General retired Jioji Konrote.

Qalinauci holds a post graduate diploma in legal practice and a bachelor of law both from the University of the South Pacific.

He was admitted into the bar in 2008 as a barrister & solicitor for the High court of Fiji and was the senior legal officer for the office of the Director of Public Prosecutions since 2013.

Meanwhile, Fotofili graduated with a post graduate certificate in corruption studies from the University of Hong Kong, post graduate diploma in legal practice, and a bachelor of law both from the University of the South Pacific.

He has worked as a prosecutor for 12 years with appointed posts as legal officer to manager for the serious crimes division and office of the Director of Public Prosecutions in 2015.
