The Lautoka High Court has sentenced two men to eight years imprisonment after they were found guilty of two counts of rape.
The Court heard that Nacani Domo and Damasino Levi who are in their early thirties raped a 20-year-old mother after a traditional function in the village.
Domo and Levi were on their way home from the ceremony when they saw the complainant having sex with young boys by the road side under a guava tree.
The two joined the line in a belief that they were having consensual sex with the complainant.
They took turns having sex with her despite her repeated calls for them to stop.
The Court heard that the victim was weak and unable to react.
The two men will be eligible for parole after serving five years.
