The company claims they made several calls to Matalomani to ask for the payments but he keeps lying to them.

It says upon checking with the bank discovered that Matalomani’s account has been closed.

Attempts to get comments from him today proved futile, however Matalomani had yesterday told the Fiji Sun that he has settled the issue with the company.

The Unity Fiji candidate allegedly owes the company over $9,000.

Meanwhile, the company additionally claims that Nilesh Jaduram of Jaduram Industries Ltd also owes them money from the past few years and has not shown interest to pay back.

Jaduram told FBC News this morning that he owes the company only $1, 000 and will repay it by Tuesday next week.

However, documents sighted by FBC News shows Jaduram owes the company over $2, 000.

Jaduram says he has been doing business with the company for many years and finds it amusing that such a petty issue was raised in the media.

The SODELPA candidate claims the issue has been highlighted because he’s contesting the Election.
