A mini-van driver died instantly when his vehicle collided with a bus in Suva last evening.

The accident happened around 7pm at the junction of Loa Street and Princes Road in Tamavua.

It was reported that a mini van collided head on with a Bus with the driver of the mini van confirmed dead and two others in critical condition at CWM Hospital.

The Emergency Response Team on the ground told us it appears the accident occurred when the mini van tried to over-take another vehicle before crashing head on into the Bus.
