It’s important to have a clear understanding of the role and responsibilities associated with the Ex-Servicemen Association.

This was highlighted by Minister for Defence and Security Inia Seruiratu to members of the association this afternoon at Walu Bay, Suva.

Seruiratru says he intends to establish the linkage between the association and the ministry as soon as possible.

That linkage has to be clear and what are the policies that govern the policies and brings us together in terms of the service delivery.

He adds that the welfare of the Ex-Servicemen is also critical considering their contribution in terms of peacekeeping during their time.
