The Mother of all Festivals, the Hibiscus starts at the Valelevu Grounds in Nasinu today.

Valelevu residents say they are ready and looking forward to a good time with their families for this week long festival.

Some say that if the weather remains good, they will enjoy the rides and delicious food at the ground.

Resident, Lavenia Duru, from a women’s group in Tailevu says the ladies will be selling delicacies and baked goods at the event.

“We are selling I-Taukei food like rourou and we have started with Lovo. So we are looking forward to good sales this week.”

The theme for this year’s festival is Reuse, Reduce, Refuse, Repurpose and Recycle.
