Temporary measures put in place to improve traffic flow

Police traffic officers will be implementing temporary measures to look at ways of improving traffic flow into Nadi town.

Spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says measures such as the inclusion of more lanes in the town from Sigatoka end will be trialed from today at around 7am to 9am depending on the volume of traffic.

Naisoro says road signs will be erected to indicate the temporary measures during this period to see if it will ease traffic flow when term 3 of school begins next week.

Police are requesting the public to be patient with their traffic officers during this trial period.
