A taxi driver from Suva has been charged with one count of dangerous driving causing grievous bodily harm.

It is alleged the driver failed to stop along Gordon Street, in Suva following an early morning accident yesterday.

Police spokesperson, Ana Naisoro says the police officer who sustained injuries during the accident remains admitted at the CWM Hospital.

It’s believed the officer was riding a motorbike which allegedly collided with the taxi.
