Six people walked away with prizes worth $2, 000 after participating in the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation 64th birthday promotion.

The winners were picked from each different radio station.

2DayFM Winner, Samuela Navukasavu who is visually impaired says the prize will help them purchase the much needed items at home.

“I was just like taking part and see if it’s a lucky pick, just one lucky pick. I’ll buy some stuff at home and the rest I will keep it.”

The winners were given $1, 000 gift voucher each from Courts Fiji while FBC topped another $1, 000 each.

The promotion ran for two months before the six winners were picked.

Other winners include Leela Wati, Roselyn Karan, Jowana Buisova, Unaisi Naitoko and Irena Nayacalevu.
