Owners can reclaim their pets within 48 hours of capture subject to charges & licenses.

Koroi says dogs that are not claimed within 24 hours will be dealt with by the Agriculture Ministry and SPCA.

She says due to the surge in stray dogs population becoming problematic to the City community, trapping of stray dogs will now become an on-going exercise.
