In an effort to create opportunities for families to spend more time together, Save the Children Fiji will be hosting a Zumba Charity event in Nadi next month.

The Non-government organisation says the event will focus on the prevention of child abuse and neglect as its theme of the day.

It says Zumba is a great form of exercise that ensures people live a healthy lifestyle as a family and community.

With the school holidays around the corner, they’re expecting close to 200 people to participate on the day and raise over $3000 dollars.

The funds raised will be channeled for the organisations programing efforts

The event will be held on 8th December at the Nadi Civic Centre from 7am.
