The Rewa river has burst its bank and the Syria Park in Nausori is under water.

Naselai, Nausori resident, Netani Seru, who has been in the town since this morning told FBC News that water level rose due to the high tide this hour.

Seru says it has been raining in Nausori for the last few days and many low lying areas are under water.

This morning officers from the Fiji Police Force were seen monitoring the situation.
