Final outcomes from the Rewa Provincial Council Meeting are focused on education, employment and investment opportunities for the people of Rewa.
After two days of deliberations, ITaukei Affairs Permanent Secretary, Naipote Katonitabua says discussions were mainly on the way forward for the province.
Katonitabua says issues pertaining to the running of the province of Rewa were dealt with accordingly and the Council is embarking on developing new initiatives.
“Something that is quite peculiar about the two days meeting is the initiative, first is the vision and the initiative that the Marama Na Roko Tui Dreketi wants Rewa to be and secondly is the committee that works to implement the initiatives.”
With over 54 villages in Rewa, the I-Taukei Affairs is happy with the input made by the Marama Bale, Roko Tui Dreketi Ro Teimumu Kepa.
