Rarawai sugar mill in Ba will become the second sugar mill to end the 2017 crushing season.

The mill will finish crushing this Saturday.

Sugar Cane Growers Council Chief Executive Sundresh Chetty says cane farmers for the Rarawai Sugar Mill must ensure all cane for this crushing season is harvested and sent to the mill before crushing ends.

Lautoka sugar mill was the first to end the crushing season.

Meanwhile the Labasa sugar mill is to continue with crushing until the middle of next month.
