The Police Criminal Investigations department yesterday questioned SODELPA leader Sitiveni Rabuka and released him.

Rabuka was questioned in relation to comments made during FBC’s Na Vakekeli radio talkback show this week which are alleged to be in breach of the Information Act.

Rabuka accused Bainimarama’s late brother Ratu Timoci Bainmarama of owing money to the old National Bank of Fiji.

However, Bainimarama says there’s no truth in Rabuka’s claim as the late Bainimarama’s name is not on the list that is with the Reserve Bank.

Despite this, Rabuka says he has documents to back up his claims.

Police Commissioner Brigadier General Sitiveni Qiliho while not revealing much details told FBC News investigation is ongoing.

He says that despite his release, Rabuka will continue to be questioned by the Police.
