There is a need for investigators to keep up with changes locally and globally says Assistant Police Commissioner – Ravi Narayan.

Police Spokesperson – Ana Naisoro says ASP Narayan made the comments during the Criminal Investigations workshop at Nasova yesterday.

Naisoro says criminals are now capitalizing on technology to commit crimes without having to leave the comfort of their homes.

“We have to admit that more emerging crime trends are being aided by the use of modern technology. We do admit that the lack of resources can hinder our investigations but we have to realise that times are changing, criminals are getting smarter.”

The three day workshop ends today.
