The Police Force will conduct snap checkpoints throughout the country to clampdown on the mis-use government resources.

With the second phase of the operation now in place four government vehicles have been impounded in the southern division.

Police spokesperson Ana Naisoro says officers have been told to strictly monitor the movement and use of government vehicles.
