Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama has met with the Vice President and the Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum.

The meeting discussed ways of enhancing investment relations in tourism and air transport.

Bainimarama praised the UAE as a major investor in the sectors and informed that Fiji has a fertile investment and economically feasible environment.

For his part, the Ruler of Dubai expressed the UAE’s interest in building relations of co-operation and friendship on areas of mutual interests.

Fiji’s embassy in Abu Dhabi, is the first in the Gulf Region.
