The Pacific Islands News Association Limited (PINA) has congratulated the Fiji Broadcasting Corporation for reaching another milestone in Fiji and the region.

FBC has turned 60-years old.

In a statement PINA said it is honoured to be associated with the national radio and TV broadcaster through its membership as a broadcast industry member of the regional media organisation.

President Moses Stevens said they acknowledge the achievements of FBC since its single station beginning in 1954.

Currently FBC covers 90 percent of all households in Fiji and a great achievement for the TV station that is yet to be three years old.
