SODELPA and Opposition MP Niko Nawaikula has come out telling the party members to step up and try and find ways to deliver for all Fijians.

Speaking to FBC News, Nawaikula says he has suggested during a caucus meeting that they can’t concentrate on debating in parliament as they have to reach out to people.

Nawaikula says he is disappointed with the fact that they will continue to lose out by majority vote in parliament and they have to find ways to do what they campaign for.

“I can’t afford to, I don’t want to be losing and we should move forward in parliament and we will be stopped from doing all this kind of things because we will lose again so instead of fighting in parliament let’s do other things.”

Nawaikula says SODELPA MP’s should start visiting rural and maritime communities and at the same time find ways to empower those who are in need of assistance.
