Constructive debate is expected in parliament for the next four years and Speaker of the House, Dr Jiko Luveni is warning all MP’s in advance that parliament rules will remain the same.
Members of the House from both sides of parliament will have to abide by the rules set out for them when debating on policies.
There is a lot of anticipation on the caliber of debate that will happen in parliament with the Speaker of the House Dr Luveni already reminding MP’s to be cautious.
“But the rules of parliament remain the same, there should not be much difference except that the caliber of members will be seen.”
Dr Luveni says MP’s who don’t follow certain parliament rules will be taken to task accordingly as it has already happened in the last four years.
