Pacific Cement has so far sold 800 tonnes of clinkers to Tengy Cement.

Fijian Holdings Limited which is a subsidiary of Pacific Cement Group says since they are operating at a lower capacity, they are supplying excess clinkers to their competitors.

Chief Executive, Nouzab Fareed says as of Tuesday, they have supplied 800 tonnes of clinkers so that Tengy Cement continues a 24 hour production and supply to the market.

Fareed says they hope Pacific Cement will start its full production by September.

“The current Pacific Cement mill is back at seventy percent and it will be hundred percent by September."

Pacific Cement stopped production last month due to a breakdown resulting in a cement shortage around the country.
