Oral health of infants remains a concern

Oral health of infants remains a concern as parents are not taking them to the dentists on time.

Colgate Palmolive General Manager Jarrod Parker says while most babies don’t start getting teeth until they are six months old, infant dental care is important from the very beginning.

Parker says they have toothbrush options for infants.

He says early intervention will eliminate oral disease in kids.

“Starting the dental brushing routine as early as possible is paramount and those tooth brushes obviously provide the best format for the children’s teeth and mouth size they have at that developing age group.”

Parker says parents should encourage their children to brush from an early age.
