The people of Vanua Levu are urged to support the Duavata Northern Crime Prevention Carnival 2018.

Divisional Secretary North, Soko Tuima says the carnival helps raise awareness on crime and assist the vulnerable in the community.

This year there are 31 contestants competing in five categories – princess, teens, queens, kings and the Priscilla’s and each individual will have something to advocate on.

Proceeds from the Carnival will go towards adding more CCTV cameras in Labasa Town to help deter crime.
