ADRA Fiji Country, Director Iliapi Tuwai says the program involves the training of people in governance, accountability, transparency and also inclusiveness.

“This is an empowerment programme to actually build this network from the village level, to the district level, the provincial level then to the national level that this network and communication flows all throughout and this will improve the way plans are carried out in the communities."

Tuwai says at the end of the three year program, they will want all CSO’s in Cakaudrove to be recognised, to have a voice and be transparent.

The program will be carried out in the 134 communities in Cakaudrove, from Wailevu to Yacata as well as in thirty high schools.
