Fiji Broadcasting Corporation has signed a contract with movie channel CCTV.

Under this contract twenty-six movies have been given that will broadcast through the FBC TV platform.

Jihong Zhou of the International Cooperation Department in China says the movies will showcase China.

“We believe that through these Chinese programs broadcast in Fiji, the Fiji people will have a better understanding of China and how the Chinese people are living right now and also it will enhance the friendly relations between the two countries.”

These movies air on FBC TV on Saturdays after the Bollywood movies.
