SSP Khan says the recent drowning is an unfortunate reminder that people need to be mindful of their environment and the threat it can have on their safety.

A fifty-year-old farmer from Korobebe Village in Sabeto drowned last Thursday.

It is believed while crossing the river with six other people in the Nausori Highland the deceased got swept away by the strong current.

His body was later found at Navadrakula along Nadi River.
