The Ministry of Education has changed the names for the external examinations for Forms 6 and 7.

The Fiji School Leaving Certificate for Forms 6 is now called the Fiji Year 12 Certificate Examination (FY12CE).

Fiji Seventh Form Examination will now be called the “Fiji Year 13 Certificate Examination (FY13CE).

Acting Permanent Secretary for Education Basundra Kumar says the name change is part of other reforms the Ministry implemented this year.

The Year 13 exam will be held on 27th of October to the 7th of November and Year 12 on the 3rd to the 14th of November.

Technology Vocational Employment Training (TVET) has now also changed to Technology Employment Skills Training (TEST).
