She says she is proud of her achievement.

“During cyclone Winston, our house was fully damaged and we lost a lot of things. We lost most of the things and I had to cope with it because there was no one else. After studying about electronics, I was able to fix some of the damages at home. I fixed some of the appliances especially the wirings and the solar panel wiring. I was able to do that because after Winston there was no electricity but I was able to help in the solar wiring.”

Her mum Viniana Burenitu says she has made the family proud and they are very proud of her achievements.

856 students from the Western Technical Colleges graduated today with certificates in the fields of construction, engineering and hospitality.
