Nadi is expected to see a boom in buildings with the construction of new multimillion dollar projects.

Special Administrator, Robin Ali says one of the projects is the refurbishment of Nadi Hotel in the heart of the town.

“The old Nadi Hotel which is now owned by Fiji National Provident Fund – they are now about to start work on that property. That is a multimillion dollar project and after that is the Vinod Patel coming. That’s also a multimillion dollar project. And after that is the temple project coming on the other side of the town and then on this side you see the airport, it is actually controlling the development and location of the development.”

Ali says the council has received over twenty million dollars worth of building plans in the town alone in the first six months of the year.
