The Youth Group of the remote island of Tuvuca in the province of Lau has been re-registered with the Ministry of Youth and Sports.

This follows the recent visit to the island by the Minister of Youth and Sports Laisenia Tuitubou.

Tuvuca youth representative, 32-year-old Emosi Sauvou says they’ve requested the Minister to conduct some leadership and business management workshop with the youths to help them in utilizing their resources well.

After visiting youths of Tuvuca island near Vanuabalavu, the Minister visited youths of Cicia island.

More youth groups are expected to register with the Ministry with Tuitubou to visit Nayau island, Vanuavatu and Moce island.
