More than $30k raised in Sydney for WOWS Kids Fiji

More than thirty thousand dollars was raised from a charity dinner for WOWS Kids Fiji at Shangri-La Hotel in Sydney over the weekend.

Prime Minister Voreqe Bianimarama was part of the fundraiser and urged everyone to dig deep a worthy cause.

Speaking to those present at the fundraiser, Bainimarama says the money raised will benefit WOWS Fiji to continue to provide their important services to children suffering from cancer.

“We gather together to pour our hearts and open our pockets to the young children in Fiji who show great strength and courage in a battle harder than any other fought- the fight against childhood cancer.”

Bainimarama says WOWS Kids Fiji provides care and help to families in many forms like medical care in different stages of treatment.

He says help is also provided to parents of children suffering from cancer in terms of counseling.

Thirty one thousand, one hundred and twenty five dollars was raised for WOWS kids Fiji.
