“For the smaller constructions companies, after my talk I would like them to go away with a greater appreciation just how much they touch the environment with the works that they do.”

Qereqeretabua says people are not thinking about how their actions impact the environment.

“I know a lot of times when a developer starts a development, you know construction industry could be inadvertently affected if the developer hasn’t gone through proper processes in terms of Environmental Impact Assessment.”

The conference will be held from the 13th to the 15th of June at the Grand Pacific Hotel in Suva.
