Digicel Fiji today announced its sponsorship for the 2019 Duavata Northern Crime Prevention Carnival for the seventh year in a row.

The Carnival was launched in a colourful ceremony in Labasa where Digicel announced the continued sponsorship support for the week-long fete.

Mike Greig, Digicel Fiji CEO says their excited to continue their partnership which makes a huge difference to the community in Labasa and the greater North.

This year the Carnival will be helping to raise funds for more CCTV cameras to be installed in the town with 11 already installed and another five to be put in later this year.

The CEO adding that they applaud the initiatives of the Carnival committee to join hands with Police and other stakeholders to promote crime prevention.

The Digicel Duavata Northern Crime Prevention Carnival will be held at Subrail Park, Labasa from 29th June to 6th July.
