The Ministry of Education will be liaising with the National Employment Centre, the Fiji National University and the Public Service Commission, in engaging volunteer teachers in schools.

Education Minister Filipe Bole says this is part of the initial volunteer engagement for this year where they were allocated a quota of 30 volunteers.

Bole is urging potential candidates to register with the NEC if they wish to teach in schools.

An advertisement for the volunteer scheme for Education will be put out in the media once everything is finalised.
