It’s a positive sign for the church that the commissioner himself has responded to their application.

In the past, their requests were brushed off with a phone call saying there will be no meeting.

Apart from the annual conference, the church is hoping to conduct its standing committee meeting in June or July.

Methodists make up the largest Christian denomination in Fiji and elders want to meet in August so that Church ministers can be ordained and a new President can be elected.
