One of India’s leading health consultants, Medivisor Health is planning to extend their operations in Fiji.
Company Director Kumar Sushant says they have identified a suitable location in Nadi for their next branch which is expected to be open by December.
Sushant says almost one hundred fifty patients fly from Fiji to India every month to undergo medical treatments thus setting up a centre in Fiji is vital.
“We are looking at setting up our office here in terms of like an information centre where people can go to and get all the information about India or the hospital in India.”
The company from Delhi in India provides health care advice to those needing help.
Sushant says they have served over two-hundred patients from Fiji in the last two years.
He adds he is working closely with the Health Ministry to establish the Nadi branch.
