Assistant Minister for Employment, Productivity, Industrial Relations and Youth and Sports, Alvick Maharaj says he will work closely with his Minister Parveen Kumar.

Maharaj says they will develop a plan and work accordingly.

He says emphasis will also be put on youth development.

“You know forty percent of the Fijian population is below the age of forty. A lot of work has been done, there is more to be done. Again we have to strategize how we are going to work with the youths, how we are going to involve youths – with politics, with policy making and everything and governance and we will work accordingly.”
