Chief Justice Anthony Gates has told all law graduates to take up jobs where they can expand their understanding on topics they have studied.

Justice Gates says the choice is upon the graduates whether they want to join a firm where they will apply their legal qualification or join a company and learn very little.

He says while jobs requiring more work to be done will be challenging, it will go a long way.

Justice Gates says graduates need to learn as much as they can after graduation to excel in the future.

22 new law graduates were admitted to the bar yesterday.

They will practice at the Magistrates Courts and after two-three years, they will qualify to take up High Court matters.
