In a bid to improve the services delivered to Fijians by the labour ministry they launched their five year strategic development plan and operational plan for a year.

Employment Minister Jone Usamate says the ministry has up-skilled their staff to become mediators to better help resolve work-place disputes.

“We want to have all our staff here to ensure that as we go into the new financial year then we start implementing these plans to make sure that we develop a better Fiji for all Fijians.”

Usamate says the strategic development plan will set out a road-map for the ministry to improve their services.
